CHICKEN SPAGHETTI RECIPE PROVINCIAL
A nice chicken spaghetti recipe to try !
INGREDIENTS
  • 6 chicken breasts with bones
  • 2 lg. cans tomatoes
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • 1 lb. cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 lg. onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. half and half
INSTRUCTIONS
Stew chicken in water and seasonings of your choice. Let cool, cut into bite size pieces. Save stock.
Simmer 4 cups canned tomatoes and 2 cups of chicken stock until liquid is reduced by one half. Season this mixture with parsley, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and pinch of basil and thyme; set aside.
Slice and saute mushrooms in butter; drain, then add to above sauce along with meat pieces.
Into mushroom dripping stir in flour, cream and 1/2 of cheese. Heat and stir until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add to tomato chicken mixture. Mix entire sauce with cooked spaghetti and add remaining cheese on top. Heat 45 minutes at 350 degrees. The chicken spaghetti recipe is ready to serve...enjoy the spaghetti...nice !
